It has been almost a week since our last post. No thanks to the recent "World Wide Wait" incident that hits "us", few far-east countries. :(
Lucky for me, few days before the quake(may god save all of us), I managed to get the latest copy of my favourites street-car racing game, the Need For Speed.. this time.. CARBON. While "offline", me rides!!

No need long intro, this game rawks! Better than the previous "NFS Most Wanted" where you race-climbed the list (15 if I'm not mistaken) to be ..who-else than the most wanted. Here, in CARBON you race in team, which consist of you and your CREW(s). Kinda interesting real-world approach. In Tier 1, I drive a RX8(the best for a start) which fall into TUNER class (others is MUSCLE,EXOTIC). Managed to "get" all the BOSS's pink slip (however I sold 'em to get extra dollars). Next I tuned a Cayman S for Tier 2 and then a Nissan 350Z. Quite OK but entering the last Tier (3), you must get yourself the same of the breed, otherwise you'll get smoked (always). Thats why I follow Nikki's advice to get a Ford GT(pics, last battle with Darius who drove AUDI R8). She draft, I "draggggg". Thats the meaning of teamwork.

"The player can pick specific people to be in their crew, such as a scout who can help find shortcuts throughout the track, a blocker who races beside the player in the race and can target cars during the race and knock them off the course, and a drafter who creates a slipstream for you during a race. Also, each crew member will also have a second specialty, such as fabricators, who can modify certain parts of your car and enable AutoSculpt (a tool which allows the player to customize the modifications), mechanics, and "fixers", who can reduce your wanted level or get truckers out of your way" -wiki

Tempted? Not yet? Argghhh... trust me you will.
Get your copy now. Burn that rubbberrrr!!!! (Ms emmanuelle 'nikki' vaugier also featured here to "help" you)

Thanks Nikki.

Is it for real? What do you think then? Photo-chopped? 3D-ed image? :)
This "insect" is A-L-I-V-E. Yes, it can bite. (Kidding)

The “eXasis” has open wheels, a cigar-shaped body with fore and aft tandem seating, and has elements of the legendary Auto Union race cars from the first half of the last century combined with a modern Baja-1000 off-road vehicle.

Quik grides:-

- compact and powerful two-cylinder 750-cc engine
- 150 green-horsepower
- Bioethanol powered supercharged engine
- weight of just 750 kilograms?

This beauty concept from Volvo will be unveiled at 2007 North American International Auto Show, Detroit next month. With six-cylinder, 3.2-litre bio-ethanol engine, the AWD XC60 claimed to "have" 265 number of horses inside. Quite OK for an AWD, but the more the merrier, rite?

The most interesting part is the engine (bio-ethanol),can give you 80 per cent lower carbon dioxide emissions compared with the same engine running on petrol. With the each-year-compulsary highway toll-price increase, this and that.. maybe bio-ethanol is the answer for future fuel. Does it really "save"?

In my-mother-tounge language, G-E-M-B-A-L-A(sounds like the Gemballa duhh) means people who works as "cows-best-friend" or "sheep-best-friend" or "goat-best-friend", depending on "which" they are "friend" with. Too much "" huh? :).

But this GEMBALLA ,
I'm not really sure which "friend/s" are they group into but anyway.... they rocks!! Hand over your already stunning Porsch to them and they'll turn it into a "speed-demon's-father". Yess, maybe that's the "friend" I'm looking. :)

Move aside that.. featured here, the super extreme makeover for your beloved Carrera GT. Do you own one? Quick, get your CGT pimped the Gemballa way.

I didn't own a scoot (only a moped), but that didn't bother me really much because in some way, I love the scoot.. especially if it generates 75hp power mower!! Isn't cool?

Featured, The Piaggio Gilera GP 800. Yet, the world's fastest scooter (still not in the prod line). Anybody interested to break that?

Move aside the Godzilla or the one which always fighting with the ever immortal Ultraman. Now this is what I called a "monster". A twin-supercharged supercar, 4.7L V8 that churn out 806hp @ 6900rpm and 678 lb-ft torque @ 5700rpm — speed off from 0-60 in just 3.2-seconds, whoaaa... do you get what I mean by this.

This stunning made-in-Sweden machine doesn't come cheap (as usual).. only if you got about half of million US dollars to play around. (US$540,000 to give the number).

CCX stands for Competition Coupe X. The CCX commemorates the 10th anniversary of the completion and test drive of the first CC maiden prototype, which rolled out from the R&D Department in 1996. -source

Gone fast. Yeah, don't you agree with the tagline. Why not. Even Mr Bean owns one (earlier version of course). Mastered by who-else-in-the Mini tuner's heaven, John Cooper Works(JCW). Only 2000 on the production and this 240kmh capable pocket dynamite claimed to have 218 number of horses inside it. Not enough?

Go digg it yourself. Testdrive done by MINI2 , below. Maybe you can get the better picture. (Me don't need that.. :))

Would you fork your hard earned (about $50K) dollars for this sportsride? Me prefer the ELISE/EXIGE a lot more. :)

Reported to be powered by the mighty Audi and to be featured at next Geneva Motor Show. Just wait and see.

Born on the racing playground. Thats enough to best describe this racetrack-always-there supercar. At EUR 646,840.00 , surely I can't owns her (for now), but I believe many more like me out there :). 337km/h capable road warrior of course don't come cheap. However, sale of the SLR 722 Edition in the U.S. has not been confirmed. Pity you friends. No worries. Lot of lot of other speed-junkies somewhere, priced cheaper than this beauty.

But do you know where on earth the number 722 comes from? :)..
"SLR 722 Edition is a homage by Mercedes-Benz to the unforgettable victory won by the British racing legend Stirling Moss and his co-driver Denis Jenkinson in a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR with the starting number 722 (indicating a start time of 7.22 a.m.) at the Mille Miglia in 1955." -source

Remember. Don't forget your "take-off" time everytime you first floored the pedal on the racetrack. Who knows, one day .... you'll be "history".

One million (EU$) worth of speed demon. Yeaa.. That's the price you've got to fork up to get your name on the pink slip of this superb 4-wheeler. Do you got what it takes to be the "highly select clientele" to own one of the most extreme super-duper petrol-guzzler?
